Stress Due to Time Management | Psychologist in Navi Mumbai

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time!
Lack of time is a common source of stress for many people nowadays, and the motto “Time is money” has unfortunately been drilled into our heads. Many of us panic when we believe we don’t have enough time to complete all of the tasks on our bridges. As a result, we neglect our own health and fail to schedule ‘me time.’ Many of us feel guilty and even anxious when we waste time; however, when someone else wastes our time, we become irritated and impatient. Some people even find it difficult to schedule ‘me time’ because they regard it as a waste of time or feel guilty about it.
With our daily demands, it’s not always possible to manage our time effectively, no matter how hard we try. So, don’t feel bad about wasting time, especially if it’s for yourself, because… “The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time”
Regardless of how hectic your schedule is, make time for yourself and don’t feel guilty about it:
1. You have earned it: You will have nothing if you do not have good health, particularly good mental health. So outsourcing that pile of ironing so you can focus on something you enjoy is both more important and less ridiculous than you might think.
2. If you don’t have an hour, take ten minutes; a short break and some alone time are better than nothing.
3. Don’t set goals that are too lofty. Accept that you won’t be able to complete something and move on to the tasks that you can.
4. Keep in mind that you don’t have to do everything. If you don’t have time to send that email you’ve been meaning to send, it won’t be the end of the world.
5. Stop feeling guilty if you’ve done something you think was a waste of time in general. Yes, you could have done something at the time, but if you’re feeling bad about it, you probably didn’t. Concentrate on the solution rather than the problem.
Now is the time to move on.
